This expressive oil on canvas by Olga Antonenko, signed and dated 1994, presents a vivid psychological landscape anchored by a central, mask-like face. The exaggerated features—wide eyes, elongated nose, and stylized mouth—evoke a sense of emotional intensity and introspection. Surrounding the face, swirling brushstrokes in saturated reds, yellows, greens, and blues create a dynamic field of movement, suggesting inner turmoil or ecstatic revelation. Hand-like forms and abstract shapes emerge from the chaos, blurring the line between figure and environment. The composition balances raw energy with deliberate structure, offering a glimpse into the artist’s exploration of identity, perception, and the subconscious.
Framed in a modern light wood frame.
